Job description

About Imaging Brands

Imaging Brands is an Arizona-based developer and manufacturer of innovative accessories for the global professional photography and video markets. As a small, established, and dynamic company, we move quickly, value practical ideas, and give talented people the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

We are seeking an experienced International Sales & Business Development Manager to strengthen our existing distributor network, expand our presence in key markets, and identify new opportunities for profitable growth.

This is an ideal role for a resourceful sales professional who enjoys building lasting business relationships, developing markets, and taking ownership of results. You will work closely with company leadership and have the autonomy to shape international sales strategy while remaining directly involved in execution.

The Opportunity

The International Sales & Business Development Manager will manage and grow a portfolio of international distributors, dealers, and strategic accounts. You will partner with existing customers to improve performance, identify gaps in market coverage, and develop new relationships that expand the reach of Imaging Brands products.

This is a hands-on position combining sales account management, strategic planning, business development, sales training, and cross-functional coordination. Most customer engagement takes place by phone and videoconference, with approximately 10% international and domestic travel.

Success in this position will be measured primarily by profitable sales growth, distributor performance, new-market development, and the strength of our international business relationships.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute international sales strategies that support profitable, sustainable growth.

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with distributors, sub-dealers, retailers, ecommerce partners, and other strategic accounts.

  • Work with distributors to create regional business plans that expand retail and ecommerce sales of Imaging Brands products.

  • Grow existing accounts by identifying new products, channels, customers, and market opportunities.

  • Prospect for and establish relationships with new distributors, dealers, and strategic partners in underserved markets.

  • Evaluate account and regional performance, identify gaps in market coverage or execution, and develop practical plans to address them.

  • Establish short- and long-term sales goals with distribution partners and maintain accountability for agreed-upon actions and results.

  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales proposals, product presentations, and training programs for current and prospective customers.

  • Negotiate and manage distributor agreements, pricing structures, sales programs, and related commercial terms.

  • Coordinate with distributors to ensure programs are executed effectively and on time.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales tools, localized content, training materials, and other resources needed in international markets.

  • Maintain accurate records of customer activity, pricing, contracts, forecasts, and sales performance.

  • Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, market insights, and recommendations to senior management.

  • Monitor expenses and manage international sales activities within established budgets.

  • Stay informed about competitive activity, regional market conditions, retail and ecommerce trends, and customer needs.

Who We’re Looking For

  • A team player with at least three years of successful B2B sales, account management, or business development experience. Experience in consumer products, specialty retail, ecommerce, photography, or video is strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated success managing and growing distributor, dealer, retail, or strategic-account relationships.

  • A proactive, entrepreneurial approach and the ability to move comfortably between strategy and hands-on execution.

  • Strong commercial judgment, including the ability to evaluate opportunities, prioritize resources, negotiate effectively, and focus on profitable growth.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, relationship-building, and organizational skills.

  • Confidence conducting business by phone and videoconference with customers across different countries, cultures, and time zones.

  • Familiarity with international sales practices, distribution models, retail and ecommerce channels, and the cultural and commercial considerations involved in global business.

  • The ability to create structure, manage multiple priorities, and follow through consistently in a fast-moving environment.

  • Experience with CRM, ERP, or inventory-management systems.

  • Strong general computer and technical skills, with the ability to learn new products and systems quickly.

  • A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.

  • Fluency in an additional language is helpful but not required.

Why Join Imaging Brands?

At Imaging Brands, your work will be visible and your ideas will matter. You will have direct access to decision-makers, the flexibility to act on promising opportunities, and the ability to influence how we grow internationally.

This role offers the variety and ownership that come with working for a smaller company: building strategy, developing relationships, solving problems, and seeing the direct results of your efforts. If you are an experienced sales professional who enjoys creating opportunities—not simply maintaining accounts—we would like to hear from you.

Benefits?

  • Competitive salary and career growth opportunities, based on experience

  • Competitive benefits include Health, Dental and Vision with company contribution

  • Life insurance, AD&D, short-term and long-term disability

  • Generous 401K Match Program

  • Excellent Product Discounts

  • Hybrid Work Option

  • Paid time off and sick leave
