Be the one who shows up when it matters most
QUICK OVERVIEW (TL;DR)
We're hiring an Estimator to create accurate, compliant estimates for mitigation and reconstruction projects. Working closely with Project Managers, you'll help secure approvals, protect profitability, and support efficient project closeout. This role is critical to turning field documentation into scopes that support claim compliance, accurate billing, and successful project outcomes.
THE ROLE – WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO
  • Prepare accurate mitigation and reconstruction estimates using field documentation, photos, measurements, and DocuSketch data.
  • Write and revise estimates and supplements in Xactimate/Symbility (required)
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Crew Chiefs to ensure scope accuracy and documentation quality.
  • Respond to carrier and TPA feedback while protecting appropriate scope capture.
  • Identify scope gaps, maintain margin awareness, and escalate issues early.
  • Communicate with adjusters and stakeholders to support approvals and file closeout.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • Strong written communication and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with technology and estimating platforms.
  • Xactimate/ Symbility proficiency required.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • Symbility experience.
  • Restoration or reconstruction estimating experience.
  • Knowledge of TPA/carrier requirements.
  • Experience estimating projects in NYC/Metro markets.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Base salary: $65K–$85K plus performance-based commissions and incentives.
  • Total compensation potential: $150K+.
