Can a truck driver make $200,000 a year?

Truck drivers, including those in commission impound roles, can potentially earn $200,000 annually, especially with experience, specialized skills, or working in high-demand regions. However, such earnings are typically achieved through a combination of high mileage, bonuses, and sometimes owner-operator status, rather than standard wages. Most drivers earn less, with top earners reaching higher income levels through additional responsibilities or incentives.
