Job description

Position Title: Contract Maintenance Manager

Area of Requirement: Evans Army Community Hospital (EACH) Fort Carson, Colorado (Colorado Springs)

Scope of Position:

The Contract Maintenance Manager (CMM) serves as King George's (KG) senior on-site representative and has full authority to manage all operations, maintenance, repair, and facility management activities performed under the contract. The CMM directs contract execution across Evans Army Community Hospital and all supported medical facilities, ensuring continuous 24/7/365 support, regulatory compliance, safe operations, Joint Commission readiness, quality performance, and customer satisfaction. The CMM leads all key personnel, coordinates directly with the Contracting Officer, COR, Facility Management, and hospital leadership, and ensures all maintenance activities comply with DHA, NFPA, OSHA, EPA, UFC, and Joint Commission standards.

Tasks and Capabilities Required:

Direct daily operations and maintenance activities

Manage staffing, scheduling, budgets, and resources

Ensure emergency response capability within one hour

Review performance metrics and KPI reporting

Coordinate outages and high-risk work with hospital staff

Ensure Joint Commission readiness

Oversee Quality Control and Safety Programs

Approve corrective actions and process improvements

Lead meetings with Government stakeholders

Ensure compliance with all contract requirements

Mandatory Experience and Certifications:

Minimum 5 years of healthcare facility maintenance management experience in bedded inpatient medical facilities

Minimum 5 years supervising 24/7 operations and maintenance organizations

Experience managing maintenance, renovation, and repair of healthcare facilities

Working knowledge of NFPA, OSHA, EPA, and Joint Commission requirements

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

ASHE Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) certification or obtain within one year of employment

Employee of the Prime KG

Available onsite during normal duty hours and reachable 24/7/365 with one-hour emergency response capability

Preferred/Desired Certifications:

Project Management Professional (PMP)

Certified Facility Manager (CFM)
