Domestic Sales Executive – FTL/LTL Trucking (x2 vacancies)
Location: Austin/TX
Office based/Hybrid 5 days a week – Mon-Fri
Salary: $57,500 – $65,000 per year (commensurate with experience) + Commission of 25% after all deductions + Benefits

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Domestic Sales Executive to join our growing transportation and logistics team with a Hunter mentality for new business and also to farm your own accounts once brought on. This role is focused on developing new business opportunities, growing existing customer accounts, and providing tailored Full Truckload (FTL) and Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) transportation solutions across the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, and working closely with operations and carrier partners to ensure exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within the domestic trucking market.
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of FTL and LTL transportation opportunities.
Build and manage long-term relationships with shippers, manufacturers, distributors, and other key decision-makers.
Generate competitive transportation quotes based on customer requirements.
Maintain regular communication with customers regarding shipment status, service updates, and business opportunities.
Conduct market research to identify trends, capacity opportunities, and competitive advantages.
Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within the company's CRM system.

Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in domestic transportation, trucking, freight brokerage, or logistics sales.
Proven ability to develop new business and close sales opportunities.
Strong understanding of FTL, LTL, and domestic transportation services.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to exceed performance targets.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.

Preferred Qualifications
Existing book of business or industry contacts is highly advantageous.
Experience working with freight brokers, asset-based carriers, or third-party logistics providers (3PLs). Knowledge of domestic trucking markets, carrier networks, and transportation pricing strategies.
