Domestic Logistics Specialist

Overview:
StaffBuffalo is working with a global trading and logistics organization to hire a full-time Domestic Logistics Specialist. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, international business environment and enjoys managing multiple moving parts at once. In this position, you will support high-value contracts and shipments, ensuring each order is executed accurately from start to finish.
Based in Getzville, NY, this on-site role partners closely with internal commercial teams, customers, suppliers, warehouses, and freight providers. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and confident communicating with domestic and international partners. This is a great opportunity for someone curious about global trade, logistics, and supply chain operations who wants long-term growth and exposure in an international environment.

Responsibilities:
• Manage customer service responsibilities for assigned customers and contracts
• Handle purchase orders, phone and email inquiries, and order-related questions
• Oversee documentation including letters of credit, bills of lading, invoices, and warehouse records
• Coordinate with warehouses, producers, and trucking companies to ensure shipments meet specifications
• Negotiate freight rates and approve logistics-related costs as needed
• Troubleshoot shipment issues, including rerouting freight and resolving delays
