Commission Cold Caller information

What is a commission cold caller?

Commission cold callers are sales professionals who contact potential customers by phone, typically without any prior relationship, to sell products or services. They earn their income primarily through commissions based on the sales they generate, rather than a fixed salary. This role requires strong communication skills, resilience, and the ability to handle rejection. Commission cold callers often work in industries such as real estate, insurance, and telemarketing, where direct outreach is crucial for generating leads and closing sales.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a commission cold caller, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Commission Cold Caller, you need excellent verbal communication skills, persuasive selling abilities, and a basic understanding of sales principles, often supported by prior sales experience or training. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software, autodialers, and call tracking systems is typically necessary. Resilience, adaptability, and strong listening skills help you handle rejection and customize your approach to diverse prospects. These skills are crucial for consistently generating leads, closing sales, and achieving commission-based targets in a competitive environment.

What are some common challenges faced by commission cold callers, and how can they be overcome?

Commission Cold Callers often face challenges such as handling frequent rejection, maintaining motivation, and managing the pressure to meet sales targets. To overcome these challenges, it's important to develop resilience, refine communication techniques, and set achievable daily goals. Many successful cold callers also benefit from ongoing training and feedback, as well as collaborating with teammates to share strategies and boost morale. Adapting to feedback and continuously improving your pitch can make the role more rewarding and lead to higher commission earnings.

Hausstack builds custom software, AI-powered systems and business automations for electrical contractors and service businesses.

We are looking for a confident, consistent B2B cold caller to contact business owners using our established calling system.

This is not a traditional sales position where you must build lists, purchase leads or develop a sales process from scratch.

We Provide

• CRM and lead tracking

• Training and ongoing support

• Product demonstrations and sales materials

• Proposal creation and project fulfillment

Your Responsibility

• Log into the calling system and consistently dial provided leads

• Speak directly with business owners and decision-makers

• Follow the provided call structure naturally

• Ask basic qualifying questions

• Identify businesses that may benefit from Hausstack

• Book qualified sales meetings

• Record accurate notes and outcomes in the system

• Follow up with interested prospects when required

Compensation

• 100% commission-based independent contractor opportunity

• Earn $1,000–$2,500 for each paying client generated through your calls

• Commission depends on the size of the project sold

• No commission cap

• Remote and flexible

• Commissions are paid after the client’s payment is received

Who We’re Looking For

• Strong and confident phone communication

• Comfortable making consistent outbound calls

• Experience speaking with business owners is preferred

• Reliable, organized and accountable

• Able to follow a system while still sounding natural

• Persistent without being aggressive

You will not need to find your own leads or create your own sales process. Your primary responsibility is to get on the phone, make calls, identify interested businesses and create qualified sales opportunities.

2. The types of businesses you have previously called
