Job description

Job Description This is a key support role in Hansen&Adkins Auto Transport's Quality Department. The position is involved in processing claims, identifying root causes of damage, and implementing programs to reduce delivery exceptions. Maintaining good rapport and support with and for retailers, operations associates and OEMs. This position may require occasional overnight travel. Job Requirements Responsibilities:
  • Process cargo damages claims (maintain, research, resolve), including:
    • Handle dealers' calls regarding claims issue(s)
    • Working directly with terminals to identify root causes and implementing action plan to resolve challenge
    • Maintaining rapport with major OEMs Claims Team
    • Sorting and filing Claims Emails
  • Analysis of claims data to support damage reduction and quality improvement including costs and frequency by: OEM make and models, regions, terminals, and individual drivers.
  • Conduct driver training to support proper inspections and documentations of pre-existing damages. Audit terminal activity to ensure compliance with Quality and Safety KPIs along with FMCSA and DOT compliance.
  • Support Quality efforts at the terminal with load audits and inspections. Supply supporting documents such as load sheets.
  • Uphold the company's core values of Teamwork, Integrity, Respect, Excellence, and Safety.
Qualification:
  • Associates or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in data entry.
  • Accurate input and updating of claims data.
  • Proficient in MS Office programs, advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Background in transportation claims is preferred.
  • The ideal candidate will have the verbal, written and analytical strength to communicate and resolve difficult issues.
  • Travel as necessary
