What is a Commission Bamboo Insurance agent?

A Commission Bamboo Insurance agent is a licensed professional who sells insurance policies on behalf of Bamboo Insurance and earns commissions based on the policies sold. These agents help clients understand, select, and purchase insurance products such as home, renters, or auto insurance. Their primary role is to assess the needs of customers, provide suitable policy options, and facilitate the purchase process while offering ongoing support and service. Agents are compensated through commissions, which are a percentage of the premiums paid by clients. They must comply with state licensing requirements and adhere to Bamboo Insurance's policies and ethical standards.

How does a Commission Bamboo Insurance agent typically collaborate with underwriters and clients to ensure successful policy issuance?

Commission Bamboo Insurance agents regularly act as the liaison between clients and underwriters. They gather detailed client information, assess insurance needs, and work closely with underwriters to present accurate risk profiles. Agents also explain policy terms, guide clients through documentation, and address any concerns during the underwriting process. Effective communication and attention to detail are crucial for ensuring timely and successful policy issuance, while building lasting client relationships.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Commission Bamboo Insurance agent, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Commission Insurance Agent at Bamboo Insurance, you need a strong understanding of insurance products, sales techniques, and a relevant state insurance license. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems, quoting tools, and digital communication platforms is typically required. Outstanding interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and resilience help agents build trust and close sales with clients. These skills and qualifications are crucial for meeting sales targets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering excellent customer service in a competitive industry.

A Little More About Us

We know that where you practice massage matters.

This position is at the Massage Envy location in American Fork, but we're doing things a little differently under new, local ownership.

One of our owners is a Licensed Massage Therapist with years of experience in the treatment room, spa leadership and massage education. We understand that great massage isn't one-size-fits-all, and we want our therapists to be able to use their training, experience and individual strengths to customize their sessions for each client.

Our goal is to create the kind of environment where talented therapists can practice their craft, continue learning, build a loyal clientele and have a long-term career in massage therapy — while having a front desk and leadership team supporting them behind the scenes.

If you've previously had a perception of what working for a large massage brand might be like, we'd love the opportunity to show you what we're building in American Fork.

Location: American Fork, Utah

Come meet us, tour the clinic and see if we're the right fit for you.
