As a Full-Time Medical Billing Specialist at Minnesota Urology P.A. in Bloomington, MN, you will play a crucial role in managing patient accounts and balances. You'll ensure accurate billing and timely claims processing to maximize reimbursement. In this position, you will serve as the primary resource for patients, staff, and payers, tackling financial questions and resolving insurance issues. Your key responsibilities will include answering patient calls about account balances and financial assistance options, assisting with payment plans, and processing refunds efficiently.
You will also investigate denied claims and monitor aging accounts to ensure that all discrepancies are addressed. Collaborating with clinical staff and third-party payers, you will work diligently to reconcile payments and maintain precise account records, contributing significantly to a seamless healthcare experience for our patients.
