Position Overview

Advent Health Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to contribute to our mission of providing exemplary mental health services. This full-time role, performed remotely, requires a professional who is not only passionate about mental health but also skilled in developing and executing individualized treatment plans to address the varied needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Advent Health Counseling Center, you will:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health status, identifying needs and developing tailored treatment plans that align with clinical best practices.
  • Facilitate individual, couples, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
  • Engage in collaborative care by working closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Keep accurate and timely client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards, detailing treatment progress and modifications in care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including supervision, workshops, and case discussions to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Adhere to ethical standards and legal requirements specific to social work practice, safeguarding the welfare of clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. You will support clients from various backgrounds and demographics, tailoring your approach to respect individual cultural contexts and needs.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Valid licensure as a Clinical Social Worker in the state of Kansas.
  • A minimum of three years of experience providing clinical social work services in a variety of settings.
  • Solid understanding of mental health diagnoses, treatment protocols, and services available to the community.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport and trust with clients swiftly.
  • Strong time management capabilities that allow for effective handling of multiple client cases and documentation.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with experience in:

  • Telehealth service delivery and remote client engagement.

Compensation and Benefits
