Job description

Service Supervisor Opportunity Summary:

As a Service Supervisor at W.W. Williams, you will be responsible for organizing workflow to meet and exceed customer expectations and arranging work to accomplish departmental objectives by completing repair orders in a timely and accurate manner. Plans, staffs, and evaluates departmental priorities to ensure that technicians work together cohesively and are accountable for assigned tasks. Maintain a schedule to aid in the timely completion of work installations and service work. The Service Supervisor ensures all work scheduled is performed safely and to the customer's satisfaction.

Job Duties:

  • Delivers exceptional service by focusing on quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving customer service issues; identifying trends; recommending systems and improvements.
  • Assign parts and labor costs correctly for customers involving warranty processes.
  • Maintains staff by training employees, maintaining a safe, secure, and engaged work environment, and developing personal growth opportunities.
  • Develops staff by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and instructing employees; developing, coordinating, and administering policies, procedures, and productivity standards.

Work Experience & Qualifications:

  • Our ideal candidate would have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a heavy truck/fleet dealership or shop environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge
  • Communicates effectively either written or verbally.
  • Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
