COMMERCIAL PLUMBING FIELD SERVICE SUPERVISOR


90,000 Base Salary plus Company Vehicle plus Full Benefits

Austin / Central Texas


This is a commercial plumbing service leadership position. This is not new construction.

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Plumbing Field Service Supervisor to oversee service technicians performing commercial plumbing repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and service work throughout the Austin and Central Texas area.

This position may also be described as a Commercial Plumbing Service Superintendent, but the focus is strictly on managing commercial service operations and technicians in the field.


Position Overview

The Field Service Supervisor will help lead, organize, and support a team of commercial plumbing service technicians.

You will work closely with technicians, customers, dispatch, and company leadership to ensure service calls are completed safely, professionally, efficiently, and to the company’s quality standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced journeyman-level plumber who understands commercial service work and is ready to take the next step in leadership.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise commercial plumbing service technicians in the field
  • Help coordinate daily service calls, schedules, and technician assignments
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support
  • Monitor job progress, workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction
  • Assist technicians with complex commercial service issues
  • Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, and facilities personnel
  • Help manage productivity, documentation, materials, and job completion
  • Coach, motivate, and develop service technicians
  • Work closely with office leadership to support department growth
  • Maintain strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail


Required Experience

Qualified candidates should have:

  • Strong commercial plumbing service experience
  • Journeyman plumber license or equivalent level of experience
  • Experience leading, supervising, or mentoring service technicians
  • Knowledge of commercial plumbing repair, maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to manage multiple technicians and service calls
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • A professional, dependable, and leadership-focused approach

Previous field supervision or service management experience is strongly preferred. Experienced journeyman plumbers with proven leadership ability are also encouraged to apply.
