About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support delivery of commercial tenant improvement projects around the Calgary area.
You will oversee management oversight of all phases of projects, including employees, subcontractors, materials and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being followed, and work is proceeding safely and with high quality standards.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day planning and management of multiple commercial TI projects
Communicate with owners, consultants and sub trades, deliver a high level of customer service to clients
Support management of on-site personnel including Superintendents, Foremen and subcontractors
Prepare project set-up, schedules, and cost controls
Lead regular site meetings with sub-contractors, architects and consultants
Work with superintendents to ensure projects adhere to safety and quality standards
Prepare progress invoices/sub trade invoices; change orders to Owner and Sub trades
Oversee project close out
Assist with development of project coordinators and site crews
Skills and Requirements
Experience as a Project Manager or Coordinator on commercial TI projects
Experience in full gut and rebuild office projects, including long term, and multi floor
Desire to work directly with the senior leadership team and support the continuing growth of the company on a long-term basis
Proven ability to lead dynamic teams on multiple projects
Strong organizational and coordination skills
Ability to find quick solutions and implement them proactively in dealing with problems
