Description:

The Senior Director, Biosimilar Pricing & Contracting Operations will serve as a strategic commercial leader responsible for the development, execution, and operational management of pricing, contracting, and commercial contracting operations across the Amneal Biosimilar & Biosciences portfolio. This role will lead enterprise pricing strategy and contracting operations for provider, payer, and organized customer channels, ensuring alignment with overall commercial objectives, product access goals, and profitability targets. This position is highly focused on pricing governance, financial performance, contract strategy, deal operations, and commercial execution. The individual will partner closely with Finance, Market Access, Trade & Distribution, Legal, Compliance, Commercial Analytics, Sales Leadership, and Executive Leadership to optimize pricing strategy, evaluate contract performance, manage channel economics, and support successful product launches and lifecycle management initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in biosimilar and biopharma pricing strategy, commercial contracting operations, provider economics, GPO strategy, and deal analytics, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional commercial initiatives in a complex and evolving healthcare environment.


Essential Functions:

  • Lead the development and execution of pricing strategy across all Biosciences products and commercial channels.
  • Establish and manage pricing governance processes, pricing approvals, and financial evaluation frameworks to support commercial objectives
  • Evaluate pricing opportunities and financial tradeoffs associated with contracting strategies, customer access, and competitive market dynamics
  • Lead scenario planning and competitive pricing analyses to support product launches, lifecycle management, and portfolio strategy decisions
  • Develop pricing analytics and dashboards to monitor Contract performance, Pricing effectiveness, Channel utilization, Customer purchasing trends, Forecast accuracy and Margin optimization
  • Drive operational improvements and process efficiencies that enhance pricing execution, visibility, and financial performance.
  • Lead all commercial contracting operations for Biosciences products across all customer segments and channels. 
  • Develop and implement contracting strategies that align with overall market access and commercial objectives while optimizing financial outcomes. 
  • Manage Deal Desk operations and establish scalable commercial processes to support pricing approvals, contract governance, and customer-specific financial evaluations. 
  • Assess financial risks and opportunities associated with commercial agreements and provide recommendations to executive leadership. Ensure operational readiness and alignment across pricing, contracting, trade, distribution, forecasting, and supply chain functions. 
  • Serve as a strategic partner across Finance, Market Access, Sales, Marketing, Trade & Distribution, Legal, Compliance Supply Chain and Commercial Operations. 
  • Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership regarding pricing strategy, contracting opportunities, and commercial performance optimization. 
  • Ensure all pricing and contracting activities comply with applicable healthcare regulations, corporate policies, and compliance standards. 
  • Support commercialization and launch readiness activities for pipeline biosimilar and specialty products.
  • Build and lead a high-performing Pricing & Contracting Operations organization as the Biosciences business expands. 
  • Mentor and develop team members while fostering a culture of accountability, analytical rigor, collaboration, and operational excellence. 
  • Establish scalable processes, governance structures, and operational best practices to support continued organizational growth. 
  • Manage external vendors, data partners, and operational support organizations as required.


 

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) Relevant field (i.e., marketing & business) - Required
  • Master Degree (MBA) - Preferred

Experience:

  • 10 years or more in Pharmaceutical / Biotechnology Managed Markets & Trade leadership experience to include successful new product launch.
  • Proven track record in implementing strategic pricing, contracting, and reimbursement plans for products in key customer segments.

The base salary for this position ranges from $265,000 to $300,000 per year. In addition, Amneal offers a short-term incentive opportunity, such as a bonus or performance-based award, with this position within the first 12 months. Amneal ranges reflect the Company's good faith estimate of what Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, experience, geographic location and other relevant skills.
