Job description

Commercial Operations Analyst

Position Summary:

  • Work Schedule:Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM

  • 100% onsite

Catalent's Baltimore/Harmans, MD (BWI) site is a leading facility supporting gene therapy development and manufacturing, with capabilities spanning early development through clinical and commercial production. The site works with a range of biotech and pharmaceutical partners across advanced biologics, including viral vectors and complex therapies. With modern technologies and a collaborative, cross-functional environment, it offers opportunities across scientific, operational, and business teams within a growing area of the industry.

TheCommercial Operations Analystis responsible forsupporting forecasting, revenue analysis, and commercial insights to drive data-informed decision-making across the business.

This role partners closely with commercial leadership and cross-functional teams, offering strong visibility into business performance, pipeline activity, and strategic initiatives within a dynamic gene therapy environment.

The Role:

  • Serve as a client-facing partner supporting account health and ongoing program execution post-contract
  • Support revenue and pipeline forecasting, including licensing milestones
  • Consolidate and interpret large data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Translate data insights into clear updates for Business Development, Commercial Leadership, and Site Leadership
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and KPI reporting to support decision-making
  • Support S&OP demand planning and resource forecasting
  • Act as a key point of coordination across stakeholders, helping ensure alignment and communication across active programs
  • Other duties as assigned

The Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degreerequired

  • Minimum 2 years of experience or exposure to biologics/large molecule drug development preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to work with external stakeholders or clients in a professional setting highly preferred

  • Exposure to commercial operations, account management, or program management environments highly preferred

  • Experience in businessanalytics role preferred

  • Working knowledge of biologics drug substance manufacturing

  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, and/or Tableau)

  • Experience building andmaintainingdata/reporting platforms (e.g., SharePoint) preferred

Theanticipatedsalary range for this position in Maryland is$95,000 - $115,000plus an annual bonus target. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limitedto thetype and length of experience within the job,typeand length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc. Catalent is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
