Job description

Capricor Therapeutics (NASDAQ: CAPR) is a biotechnology company dedicated to advancing transformative cell and exosome-based therapies for rare diseases. This position will drive disciplined execution, operational readiness, and process excellence across Capricor's commercial launch program. This role sits at the center of crossfunctional coordination-ensuring teams are aligned, risks are surfaced early, timelines are maintained, and launch-critical processes are mapped, optimized, and repeatable.

The ideal candidate brings experience supporting biotech/pharma commercial launches, paired with strong program management, operational excellence, and processimprovement capabilities. This role is designed for someone who thrives in structured planning, crossfunctional orchestration, and building scalable frameworks in a fastmoving, highgrowth environment.

Responsibilities

Commercial Launch Program Management

  • Maintain the integrated commercial launch plan, tracking timelines, dependencies, and critical-path activities across Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Patient Services, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance.
  • Drive crossfunctional launch meetings: set agendas, capture decisions, track action items, and ensure accountable followthrough.
  • Prepare materials for commercial readiness reviews, governance meetings, and executive updates.

Operational Excellence & Process Optimization

  • Map, document, and optimize crossfunctional launch processes, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for standardization.
  • Build and maintain repeatable operating mechanisms (templates, trackers, dashboards, workflows, RACI matrices).
  • Support continuous improvement by introducing tools, metrics, and operational discipline to strengthen execution quality.

Risk Management & Governance

  • Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and resource constraints impacting launch readiness.
  • Ensure alignment between functional plans and enterpriselevel objectives, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Maintain structured documentation (decision logs, RAID logs, governance summaries) to ensure transparency.

CrossFunctional Alignment & Communication

  • Translate highlevel strategic goals into executable workplans with clear owners, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
  • Serve as the central coordinator connecting Commercial with supporting functions (Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain, Medical Affairs, Finance).
  • Enable consistent communication and ensure all teams have access to uptodate timelines, plans, and reference materials.

PostLaunch Optimization

  • Support postlaunch retrospectives by gathering lessons learned and integrating improvements into future launch frameworks.
  • Partner with functional leads to refine SOPs, playbooks, and operational processes for future programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; PMP, CAPM, Lean/Six Sigma, or program management training a strong plus.
  • 3-5+ years of experience supporting biotech/pharma commercial launches (required).
  • Experience in program management, operational excellence, or process optimization within life sciences.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams, synthesize complex information, and drive structured execution.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and followthrough skills; effective at influencing without authority.
  • Proficiency with project management and workflow tools (Smartsheet, MS Project, Asana, Monday.com, Miro, etc.).
  • Comfort working in a dynamic, lean biotech environment with evolving priorities and accelerated timelines.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Office work environment with occasional travel for planning sessions and crossfunctional workshops.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail and strong organizational discipline.
