Production Associate - PIC Suite (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Production Associate to join our PIC (Polysaccharide Iron Complex) Manufacturing Suite on a permanent rotating 12-hour night shift schedule.
Shift Schedule
This position follows a rotating 2-week pattern:
Week 1
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
  • 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
  • 40 regular hours + 8 overtime hours

Week 2
  • Monday, Thursday, Friday
  • 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
  • 36 regular hours

This rotating schedule repeats continuously.
Position Summary
The Production Associate is responsible for operating and supporting manufacturing processes within the PIC Suite while ensuring compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety standards.
This role is hands-on and highly process-driven, involving everything from material weighing and processing to in-process testing, documentation, equipment operation, cleaning, and final product inspection. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Inside the PIC suite, precision matters. Every batch, every reading, every documented step becomes part of a much larger chain that helps deliver quality products customers and patients can rely on.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate manufacturing processes and equipment within the PIC Suite
  • Perform all aspects of manufacturing operations, including:
    • Material weighing
    • Processing
    • In-process testing
    • Final product inspection
    • Packaging
  • Perform additional manufacturing functions such as blending, sifting, milling, and material handling
  • Complete and maintain accurate batch records and manufacturing documentation in accordance with SOPs and cGMP requirements
  • Review batch records and GMP documentation for completeness and accuracy
  • Learn, operate, troubleshoot, and train on PIC Suite unit operations and computer-controlled systems
  • Maintain production equipment and manufacturing areas in a clean and orderly condition
  • Follow all safety procedures, GMP requirements, and company policies
  • Assist with cleaning and sanitation activities within the suite
  • Support other manufacturing areas as needed, including Packaging, Material Handling, and Spray Dryer operations
  • Assist fellow operators and departments upon completion of assigned tasks
  • Participate in continuous improvement and team-oriented manufacturing activities

Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous manufacturing, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food production, or industrial experience preferred
  • Experience working in regulated environments is a plus

  • Basic math and reading comprehension skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to lift 1-50 pounds frequently and repetitively
  • Frequent bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and repetitive hand movements

  • Ability to repeatedly ascend and descend stairs in warm and humid manufacturing environments
  • Ability to independently operate within the PIC Suite environment
