Job description

Join us at Towne Insurance! Your career. Your future. Your Towne.

Towne Insurance is seeking a seasoned Commercial Lines Marketing Manager to join our team in Norfolk, Virginia. This position may also be performed out of our Richmond office with frequent travel to Norfolk. This role is ideal for a relationshipdriven professional who thrives in a collaborative, salesfocused environment and wants to make a meaningful impact for our production teams and carrier partners. You will play a central role in supporting complex commercial accounts while helping producers and advisors deliver thoughtful, strategic solutions.

At Towne Insurance, our culture is built on a membercentric philosophy that empowers our advisors to form lasting relationships with the businesses, families, and communities we serve. We are a relationshipdriven organization where trust, integrity, and longterm partnerships matter. For a job seeker who values connection and purpose, Towne Insurance offers an environment where your work directly supports people and communities—not just transactions.

As the Commercial Lines Marketing Manager, you will lead the placement and marketing of commercial accounts across multiple industries, collaborating closely with producers, account teams, and carrier partners. Your ability to translate complex commercial risk strategies into compelling proposals will be critical to success.

The ideal candidate brings a strong level of experience in the commercial sector, a technical understanding of all property and casualty coverage concepts, and established relationships with carriers. Strong presentation skills are essential, as you will frequently communicate solutions to both internal teams and external partners. This role requires the ability to travel to other Towne offices and carrier locations as needed and to work effectively in a hybrid environment.

This position follows a core Monday through Friday schedule, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but will also include occasional after-hours events.  It offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off (holidays, PTO, sick leave, and bereavement), profit sharing, volunteer opportunities, tuition reimbursement, and more.

If you are passionate about the commercial insurance industry and want to be part of a valuesdriven organization, now is the time to take the next step. Apply today to join our commercial insurance marketing team and build rewarding relationships that make a lasting difference.
