Job description

Dri Tech is a Commercial Sheet Metal and Single Ply Roofing Contractor in the Las Vegas area that has been family owned and operated for over 59 years. To meet our growing demand, we are seeking reliable and motivated individuals. We are currently looking for a Class A CDL Driver. Job Details:

  • Hourly Rate- $20.00 to $24.00 per hour (Depends on Experience)
  • 30-40 hours per week
  • Occasional overtime
  • Varied schedule

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a variety of vehicles once certified
  • Load and unload equipment and materials
  • Haul material to and from jobsites with Lowboy trailer
  • Daily pre-shift vehicle and equipment inspections, maintain daily log
  • Perform regular maintenance/cleaning on assigned vehicles and equipment
  • Other duties as requested by leadership

Education, Skills, Experience Needed:

  • Valid Commercial Drivers License (Class A CDL)
  • Experience with Boom lifts/Scissor lifts/Forklifts/Lowboy trailers
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations pertaining to commercial vehicles
  • OSHA 10 
  • Desire to learn and commitment to working safely
  • The ability to fix or resolve minor maintenance issues

Working Environment:

  • Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions
  • Work includes prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling
  • Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination

Requirements:

  • Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
  • Provide valid US work authorization documents
  • Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Pre-employment medical fit-for-duty test; hold/obtain DOT medical card
