Experienced Canon Colorado Printer Operator (2nd Shift)

Location: Carlstadt, NJ
Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Canon Colorado Printer Operator to join our production team on the evening shift. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating Canon Colorado printers, strong knowledge of the Caldera RIP software, and the ability to manage multiple machines in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor Canon Colorado printers to ensure high-quality output and production efficiency.
  • Utilize Caldera software for job setup, color management, workflow control, and print production.
  • Manage workflow across 4 to 5 production machines simultaneously while maintaining quality standards and meeting deadlines.
  • Load, unload, and handle large media rolls and substrates safely.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality checks.
  • Prioritize multiple jobs and adapt to changing production schedules.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job status and production needs.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience operating Canon Colorado printers required.
  • Proficiency with Caldera RIP software required.
  • Experience in large-format digital printing preferred.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver heavy media rolls and materials.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work the 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM shift consistently.
