Are you a passionate culinary professional ready to lead, inspire, and create memorable dining experiences? Ford’s Colony Country Club is seeking a dynamic Sous Chef to join our kitchen team, where excellence, creativity, and teamwork come together to delight our members and guests.

As the Sous Chef, you are the heartbeat of our kitchen. You’ll oversee daily operations, ensuring every plate that leaves the kitchen meets our high standards for quality, presentation, and consistency. Acting as a bridge between the kitchen and wait staff, your leadership and communication skills will keep our team coordinated, motivated, and inspired.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Train and develop our kitchen staff, fostering skill, consistency, and passion.
  • Maintain impeccable quality, portion control, and plating standards.
  • Prepare a variety of creative cuisine with skill and precision.
  • Collaborate with wait staff to exceed guest expectations.
  • Keep the kitchen organized, safe, and sanitary, adhering to all regulations.
  • Assist the Executive Chef with planning, hiring, scheduling, and workflow management.
  • Stay current with culinary trends and incorporate them to keep our offerings fresh and exciting.
  • Perform hands-on cooking and any task in the kitchen as needed.

  • Culinary school graduate preferred, with 5–6 years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in regional and national culinary trends, food preparation techniques, and presentation styles.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to excellence, creativity, and a positive outlook.
  • Bilingual skills a plus; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Applications.
