Job description

We are seeking an experienced Credit & Collections Manager to lead a multi-site credit function supporting several business units. This individual will oversee Credit Managers and AR teams, manage key customer relationships, drive collections performance, and implement process improvements that enhance the customer experience and strengthen cash flow.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of Credit Managers and Accounts Receivable professionals across multiple locations.
  • Oversee credit, collections, and cash application processes while driving improvements in aging receivables and DSO.
  • Manage escalated collection matters and maintain relationships with the company's largest B2B customers.
  • Partner with leadership to implement process improvements and enhance customer-facing billing and payment systems.
  • Oversee lockbox operations and ensure timely application of customer payments.
  • Foster a customer-focused approach while maintaining strong credit and collection practices.
  • Support occasional travel to branch locations or customer sites as needed.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of credit and collections leadership experience.
  • Business-to-business (B2B) credit and collections experience required.
  • Experience managing teams in a multi-location environment.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in distribution, building materials, construction, or a related industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of commercial collections and lien processes preferred.

Compensation: $120,000-140,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
