A well-established Plantation law firm is seeking a Collections Legal Assistant / Collections Specialist to join its growing HOA/Condo collections practice. They are looking for someone with 1-3+ years experience handling Condo / HOA Collections.

GROW YOUR LEGAL CAREER! This is a great opportunity for someone with some collections experience, preferably HOA or Condo, who is comfortable communicating with property owners and discussing outstanding balances and payment arrangements.

Responsibilities
  • Handle HOA and Condo collection matters
  • Communicate with property owners regarding delinquent accounts
  • Negotiate and set up payment arrangements
  • Follow up on outstanding balances and payments
  • Maintain accurate collection files and records
  • Work closely with attorneys and the legal team
  • Provide professional, courteous, and persistent communication
Qualifications
  • 1 - 3 yrs' collections experience; HOA/Condo
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional and confident telephone manner
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally
  • Prior law firm experience preferred
