Job Summary and Mission
This position contributes to the success of Great Life Distributors, Inc. (Great Life) by providing remarkable customer service to all customers. This job creates the Great Life Experience for our customers by providing customers with prompt service, quality products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. Associate will model and act in accordance with Great Life guiding principles.
With this position, you will be assisting customers with their crystal and stone wearables and home decor selection. You will identify matching products to suggest to our customers. You will have the opportunity to earn both an hourly rate and commission based on your sales.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
  • Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of Great Life Distributors, Inc.
  • Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team.
  • Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating the environment and customers for cues.
  • Communicates information to the team leader so that the team can respond, as necessary.
  • Assists with new associate training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.
  • Contributes to positive team environment by recognizing alarms or changes in associate morale and performance and communicating them to the store manager.
  • Delivers remarkable customer service to all customers.
  • Follows Great Life Distributors, Inc. operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all associates during each shift.
  • Maintains a clean and organized display for customers to view product.
  • Receive product shipments that may involve lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Adhere to our standard dress code.
  • Guide customers through a selection of gourmet chocolates, fudge, and other food products at stores or trade shows.
  • Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
  • Recognizes and reinforces individual and team accomplishments by using existing organizational methods.
  • Maintains regular and punctual attendance.

Requirements
