Job description

Position Summary:

The Onsite Collection Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily operations and team performing observed specimen collections of participants from various programs, and providing quality customer service. The Onsite Collection Supervisor will proactively identify, address and resolve any issue at the testing facility with clients and employees, while maintaining professionalism and clear communication. The Onsite Collection Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all team members are consistently and accurately following all required collection procedures. The Onsite Collection Supervisor reports to Field Operations Director and is a critical addition to the team.

We are looking for a Full Time Onsite Collection Site Supervisor in Fort Worth, TX.

Essential Functions:

  • Conduct interviews for potential candidates for open positions
  • Conduct training or retraining as needed
  • Conduct regular employee check-ins to reaffirm expectations and confirm SOP compliance
  • Conduct daily audits of collection team and document the audits on the appropriate Cordant audit forms
  • Lead and supervise the onsite collection team and resolve any conflicts
  • Gather inventory information and place supply orders for the LCS team
  • Manage employee scheduling and coverage needs
  • Build professional rapport with client staff
  • Other duties or tasks may be assigned periodically by immediate supervisor

Additional Duties:

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for LCS’ when operational challenges arise
  • Collect, log, order, process, and ship urine, oral, and/or hair specimens to laboratory
  • Maintain organization in the collection of all specimens
  • Ensure LCS’ are operating in line with internal protocols, safety standards, and chain of custody requirements
  • Assemble samples for shipping
  • File requisitions, chain of custody forms, and associated paperwork
  • Interact with patients and clients in a professional manner while performing collections
  • Ensure accurate entry of demographic information
  • Use corporate email account for all communication related to client questions, business matters, supervisors, and Cordant Health Solutions Staff. Employees are also responsible for regularly managing and maintaining their assigned Tarrant County email address for internal communication regarding probationers.
  • Utilization of Microsoft Outlook, Teams and various Cordant owned programs used in the collection process
  • Manage and approve employee timecards and PTO
  • Expected to stay late if needed to complete all drug screens
  • All other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • HS diploma or GED is required.
  • 2+ years in a Lead or Supervisor role preferred
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and experience communicating with all levels of the organization, both internally and externally

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of drug testing protocols and operational workflows
  • Proven ability to solve problems and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Experienced in tracking and analyzing performance metrics
  • Field Operations experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
  • Must be able to interact with individuals who may exhibit high levels of anxiety

  • Organization Support- Follow policies and procedures; support organization’s goals and values

  • Personality - Self-motivated with ability to work under and meet strict deadlines individually as well as in a team environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Light to moderate physical effort (lift/carry up to 25 lbs.) -Heavier weights with assistance
  • Sitting & standing for long periods of time
  • Repetitive motions and/or prolonged computer use
  • Working at a fast pace, subject to many interruptions and both physical and mental stress
