Job Description
The base salary for this position is $24.05 hourly.
The Host/Hostess is the guest's first impression of our HaLani restaurant, and this person holds a very important role. The Host/Hostess sets the tone, pace, and vibe for the room with a warm greeting, eye contact, and aloha. Proper, accurate, and kind escorting is critical, along with managing reservations, server stations, and timing patterns of our guests. This person has a complete working knowledge of the menu and menu ingredients. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced and high-volume work environment and provide a consistent luxury guest experience. Previous Host/Hostess experience in a luxury hotel environment preferred. This is a casual position.
Qualifications
  • Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • High school graduate preferred.
  • Previous related experience preferred.
  • Ability to obtain Tuberculosis clearance. CPR and/or first aid certifications preferred.
