Overview
The Director of Marketing is a key leader responsible for driving brand awareness, market share, and revenue growth through thoughtful and strategic marketing initiatives across Key West Historic Inns.
At KWHI, we take pride in creating experiences that feel authentic, thoughtful, and true to the spirit of Key West. This role brings that story to life across our collection of unique properties, ensuring each marketing effort reflects the individuality of the hotels while delivering strong business results.
Working closely with the General Manager and department leaders, the Director of Marketing leads the development and execution of property-level marketing plans across digital, social, and traditional channels. This role partners across operations, F&B, and revenue teams to ensure marketing strategies support on-property experiences, guest engagement, and overall performance.
We're looking for someone who is both strategic and hands-on, with a strong sense of ownership, creativity, and accountability. This role requires a proactive leader who can anticipate business needs, manage multiple priorities, and continuously evolve marketing strategies to stay competitive and deliver results.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in hotel marketing, digital marketing, or a related field
  • Strong experience managing external agencies and marketing campaigns
  • Proven ability to analyze data and adjust strategies to drive results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and basic HTML preferred
  • Experience with Adobe design programs and Microsoft Excel preferred
