Treasury Specialist โ€“ Operations

This position is 4 days in office and 1 day remote.

Job Summary

The Treasury Specialist โ€“ Operations role is responsible for supporting critical treasury and banking functions, including loan funding, construction loan funding and draw processing, collateral processing, and daily banking operations. This role ensures transactions are completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with internal policies. This role supports multiple functions within the Treasury team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Treasury Construction Funding:

  • Prepare warehouse bank draw requests
  • Submit draw request to warehouse bank for processing
  • Create draw wire and check requests for approval, submit for approval
  • Manage inquiries between warehouse banks and Construction Team
  • Provide outgoing draw confirmations to Construction Team
  • Update Treasury Activity log and Daily Cash files for incoming draw wires and draw activity
  • Maintain daily draw activity in Encompass
  • Other draw administration processing as assigned

Construction Funding

  • Fund construction loans across warehouse bank construction sublimits
  • Providing supporting construction loan funding documentation per warehouse requirements

Treasury Loan Funding:

Support Treasury funding operations to cover peak volume periods, shift coverage, EOD prefunding.

  • Fund loans across warehouse banks utilizing Encompass LOS
  • Upload EOD prefunding loan files for next day funding
  • Communicate with warehouse bank contacts and manage multiple bank systems for funding and reporting
  • Other funding duties as assigned

Treasury Collateral Processing:

Support Treasury collateral operations to cover peak volume periods.

  • Process original collateral packages
  • Process outgoing collateral packages to warehouse banks
  • Other collateral processing duties as assigned

Support Treasury Banking Operations

  • Process daily internal bank transfers, update Treasury Activity log and provide backup
  • Warehouse curtailment tracking
  • Maintain daily incoming wire activity. Research incoming wire confirmations, update Treasury Activity log and Daily Cash file
  • Other support processing as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

Previous mortgage industry experience, warehouse loan funding and/or construction funding knowledge a plus

Analytical thinking skills
