Job description

About the Role

Cognizant is seeking a highly experienced Kinaxis Principal Architect to lead solution design, configuration, and delivery for Kinaxis RapidResponse/Maestro implementations. This role serves as the bridge between business requirements and technical solution design, driving complex configuration and modeling activities while ensuring successful end-to-end delivery across supply chain planning functions.

As a subject matter expert, you will collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Integration Leads, client stakeholders, and delivery teams, while mentoring junior consultants and contributing to the growth of Cognizant’s Kinaxis practice.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Lead solution design, configuration, and data modeling in Kinaxis RapidResponse/Maestro.
  • Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Production Qualification (PQ), and production deployments in partnership with business and QA teams.
  • Facilitate solution walkthroughs, demonstrations, design reviews, and workshops with client stakeholders.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members and consultants.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge repositories, accelerators, implementation best practices, and reusable assets.

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Strong hands‑on experience configuring and developing solutions in Kinaxis RapidResponse/Maestro.
  • Deep understanding of end‑to‑end Supply Chain Planning processes, including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and S&OP.
  • Experience integrating planning solutions with ERP systems such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, APO, or similar platforms.
  • Proven experience working in Agile delivery environments, including Scrum and sprint‑based execution models.
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Kinaxis Solution Consultant Certification – Level 2
  • Kinaxis Author Certification – Level 2
  • Experience leading global or large‑scale supply chain transformation programs.
  • Prior consulting experience in client‑facing implementation environments.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $180,000 - $200,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, subject to performance and the terms of applicable plans.
