Department: Women’s Spa
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt versus Exempt
Pay Range: $16.00/hour
Work Location: In Person
Work Schedule: Fridays (4pm-6pm) and Saturdays (3pm-6pm)

JOB SUMMARY
With a focus on exceeding the customer service expectations of all staff and members, staff assist with the day-to-day operation of the Spa departments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Greet every member and guest by name in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Assist members in the Spa with any needs.
  • Assign lockers to new members.
  • Give tours of the Spa to new or prospective members.
  • Test the whirlpool chemical levels at designated times, record on daily sheet and call maintenance if chemical levels are outside normal range.
  • Maintain both the coffee bar and vanity area.
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout, including but not limited to vanity area, bathrooms, coffee bar, towel areas, lounge, locker room, fitness room and fitness equipment.
  • Maintain and provide towels: washing, drying, folding and transporting to and from laundry department.
  • Maintain and return member’s laundry bags after washing by returning to respective member’s lockers.
  • Complete the communication log daily.
  • Respond to emergencies safety codes.
  • If needed, administer CPR/AED services to a member.

OTHER DUTIES

  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • CPR/AED and First Aid preferred.

  • Strong active listening and communication skills to anticipate and meet member’s needs.
