Job Description
The Role
The Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with existing clients and their intermediaries. This role focuses on client retention, revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and identifying new business opportunities within assigned accounts.
The Account Manager acts as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their business needs, providing solutions, and helping them maximize the value of Coface products and services.
Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and intermediaries through regular communication.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts.
  • Respond quickly and professionally to client questions and concerns.
  • Understand client needs and recommend appropriate Coface solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for clients within Coface.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to discuss performance, goals, and opportunities.

Account Management & Growth
  • Develop and execute account plans to support client retention and growth.
  • Manage renewals and maintain profitable client relationships.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional Coface products and solutions.
  • Prepare and present renewal proposals and business recommendations.
  • Work closely with Sales, Underwriting, the SSC, and other internal teams to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Ensure client information and contractual documentation remain accurate and up to date.
  • Manage multiple accounts and projects while meeting deadlines.

Business Intelligence & Analytics
  • Monitor client activity, usage, and portfolio performance.
  • Analyze data and trends to identify risks and growth opportunities.
  • Use CRM systems, reports, and business intelligence tools to support decision-making.
  • Track Key Performance Indicators metrics and develop action plans when needed.
  • Provide clients with insights that help them improve their risk management strategies.

Market Knowledge
  • Stay informed about market trends, economic developments, and industry changes.
  • Clearly communicate Coface's value proposition and competitive advantages.

Communication & Collaboration
  • Prepare and share reports on client activity, business opportunities, and customer feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure a positive client experience.
  • Present information and recommendations confidently to client stakeholders and decision-makers.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, Sales, or Client Relationship Management.
  • Experience in Credit Insurance, Risk Management, Financial Services, SaaS, FinTech, Trade Finance, or related industries is a plus.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to interpret business data and make recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with CRM systems is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused.

Additional Information
Occasional travel to clients required. French or Spanish speaking a plus.
