Job description

Talon Hiring Solutions is looking for a Electrical Design Engineer in the Greater Birmingham, AL area to lead and support the development of electrical for precast concrete structures. This role involves managing, designing, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring compliance with building codes and project requirements.

What you will do:

  • Manage and support electrical and mechanical design staff, ensuring code compliance and quality.
  • Design building systems for concrete structures, including generators and backup power systems.
  • Collaborate with sales, production, purchasing, and quality teams to improve efficiency and delivery.
  • Coordinate regulatory approvals, third-party inspections, and state compliance.
  • Support training, performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Bring

  • Bachelors in Electrical Engineering.
  • 3+ years of design experience
