About the Role:
Sanatio Health Inc is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Biller/Coder to join our growing healthcare team in Oxford, AL. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your coding expertise to a company dedicated to delivering quality patient care and operational excellence. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes to patient records and medical documentation
  • Prepare and submit clean claims to insurance carriers, Medicare, and Medicaid
  • Review and resolve claim denials, rejections, and appeals in a timely manner
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to billing
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and payer-specific billing guidelines
  • Conduct charge entry, payment posting, and accounts receivable follow-up
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to clarify documentation and resolve coding discrepancies
Requirements:
  • Active certification required: CPC, CCS, CCS-P, or equivalent credential from AAPC or AHIMA
  • Minimum 2 years of medical billing and coding experience
  • Proficient knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and medical billing software
  • Strong understanding of insurance claim submission and denial management
