Job description

Site Support Specialist

CODA, Inc. | Residential Treatment Programs
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am - 430pm

Be the First Welcome. Be the Steady Support. Be Part of Recovery.

At CODA, Inc., every role matters—especially those who help patients take their first steps into treatment. We are seeking a Site Support Specialist who brings compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail to support our residential programs and ensure patients feel welcomed, safe, and respected from day one.

This is a people-centered role for someone who thrives at the intersection of customer service, healthcare administration, and mission-driven work.

About CODA

CODA, Inc. provides evidence-based treatment and recovery services that help individuals reclaim their health, dignity, and stability. Our work is grounded in our core values:

  • Collaborative – We work as one team across departments
  • Compassionate – We meet people where they are
  • Courageous – We do what’s right, even when it’s hard
  • Respectful – We honor the dignity of every individual

About the Role

The Site Support Specialist plays a critical role in supporting clinical operations by admitting new patients, maintaining accurate health records, coordinating insurance and benefits, and providing excellent customer service to patients, staff, and guests. You are often the first point of contact—setting the tone for a patient’s treatment experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Admit new patients into residential treatment using CODA’s Electronic Health Record system
  • Assist patients with intake paperwork, releases of information, and insurance verification
  • Coordinate scheduling of new patient intakes with Admissions and Site Support leadership
  • Support patients with Oregon Health Plan (OHP) renewal and reactivation
  • Manage patient demographic, billing, and insurance information with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Provide warm hand-offs to clinical staff to support continuity of care
  • Maintain secure, orderly, and welcoming intake and admit areas
  • Manage paper health records in compliance with HIPAA and CODA policies
  • Deliver excellent customer service in person and by phone, using empathy and professionalism
  • Support patients with Food Stamp card processing and applications
  • Attend team meetings and trainings and maintain consistent attendance and punctuality

What We Offer

  • Mission-Driven Work: Be part of a team that helps individuals reclaim their health and dignity
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package: Medical, dental, vision, and retirement plan options
  • Team-Oriented Culture: Work alongside colleagues who embody CODA’s values—collaborative, compassionate, courageous, respectful, and visionary
  • Meaningful Impact: Be a trusted presence during one of the most important moments in a patient’s recovery journey

Why This Role Matters

The Site Support Specialist helps remove barriers to treatment, supports patient dignity, and ensures access to care happens smoothly and respectfully. Your work directly impacts patient retention, engagement, and recovery outcomes.

Ready to Make a Difference?

If you’re organized, compassionate, and motivated by meaningful work, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply today and help create a welcoming path to recovery at CODA, Inc.

Preferred Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Additional education or training in healthcare, administrative support, or practice management preferred
  • 2+ years of customer service experience in healthcare or nonprofit settings preferred
