Job description

Job Description Summary:
At The Coca-Cola Company, our vision is simple yet powerful: to refresh the world and make a difference. We create value for our customers, consumers, and communities by fostering partnerships that drive sustainable growth and shape the future of the beverage industry. The Director, Sales - Albertsons (Warehouse Channel) is a critical leadership role within our Nutrition team, responsible for driving enterprise growth through forward-thinking strategies, disciplined execution, and deep collaboration across the Coca-Cola system.
This position leads the headquarter account team focused on Albertsons' Warehouse route to market, steering category growth initiatives and ensuring executional alignment with Acosta and internal teams. Acting as the right hand to the Sr. Director on the Albertsons business, this role combines strategic influence with operational accountability, enabling innovative, consumer-led solutions that strengthen our partnership with Albertsons while delivering measurable business outcomes. If you thrive in strategy development, have a passion for customer engagement, and can convert insights into scalable solutions, this position offers an opportunity to shape the trajectory of one of Coca-Cola's most important retail partnerships.
What You'll Do for Us
  • Lead total business performance and execution stewardship across the Warehouse channel for Albertsons, including P&L accountability.
  • Partner with Acosta to ensure aligned delivery of enterprise objectives, translating national strategies into division-level execution plans with operational rigor.
  • Establish governance routines, performance tracking, and analytics capabilities to monitor progress, identify risks, and ensure accountability for in-market results.
  • Define and drive the multi-year strategic agenda for Albertsons Warehouse, developing actionable plans that leverage consumer, shopper, and category trends.
  • Champion category leadership and identify whitespace opportunities that unlock incremental sales, portfolio expansion, and joint growth platforms.
  • Lead Annual Joint Business Planning (JBP) efforts in alignment with Coca-Cola system priorities, integrating Acosta capabilities and activating innovation pipelines from Commercial and Brand teams.
  • Build senior-level relationships within Albertsons HQ and divisions, influencing across multiple functions to achieve win-win outcomes and secure long-term partnership growth.
  • Act as the primary cross-functional integrator, aligning teams across Sales, Marketing, Finance, RGM, and Supply Chain to deliver against shared objectives with flawless execution.
  • Proactively resolve operational and executional challenges, maintaining strong connectivity with Acosta and bottler teams to protect service levels and accelerate results.
  • Leverage digital tools, advanced analytics, and emerging AI applications to inform decision-making, optimize forecasting, and future-proof business processes.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field required; MBA strongly preferred.
  • 8-10 years of progressive leadership experience in sales, national account management, or general management within consumer packaged goods.
  • Proven success in leading JBP processes, strategic planning, and executional stewardship for large-format retail customers.
  • Strong familiarity with Warehouse route-to-market dynamics; experience working directly with Acosta or similar retail execution partners preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-brand portfolios and coordinate execution across matrixed organizations.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, supported by strong analytic capabilities.
  • Outstanding influencing and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of building senior-level customer relationships and collaborative system partnerships.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and ease with digital collaboration tools; comfort with AI-driven analytics, predictive modeling, and emerging tech platforms.
  • Highly organized, results-driven, and adaptive to fast-paced, complex business environments.

What We'll Do for You
  • Provide the opportunity to build and deliver strategies that shape growth in a highly visible and strategically critical retail partnership.
  • Equip you with best-in-class tools, analytics platforms, and collaborative resources to drive executional excellence.
  • Offer career development in a global organization with diverse pathways for leadership advancement and capability building.
  • Empower you to influence bold, consumer-driven initiatives that have measurable impact on system performance and business outcomes.
