Job description

Travel required 80-100%

We are seeking a Welding Engineer to become an Integral part of our team! You will perform Engineering duties in the Industrial Automation Field Including but not limited to, Automotive, Defense, Amusement and Aerospace.

Responsibilities (*not required, a plus):

  • Start-up and debug of new systems, Bosch Rexroth, WTC, Henrob, Stanley, Lincoln, Miller, Fronius and SKS Systems.
  • Integration of new automated production lines and launches, DAW, GMAW, RSW, SPR and Laser Welding.
  • The knowledge and understanding of BIW specifications and the ability to recommended best practice changes as needed.
  • *Technical/Operational experience w/Tessonic RSWA equipment including the software attributes (in detail).
  • *The knowledge and ability to work with, and train plant personnel on RSWA equipment while helping them understand UT Inspection requirements.
  • Problem solving and optimization of existing systems
  • Production support
  • Quality improvement projects/Expulsion reduction projects
  • Must be able to travel

  • Previous experience in the welding and joining engineering field

  • Self-starting work ethic
  • Ability to work well in teams
