Job description

Overland Charters, a premier motorcoach transportation company is seeking a Account Sales Manager at our new Houston, TX location. Account Sales will create and organize quotes and secure contracts for new and existing clients of Overland Charters. The candidate will work directly with the sales team to coordinate the marketing of services to business relationships. OVERLAND CHARTERS has been in business almost 30 years in Wichita KS, Dallas TX, Oklahoma City OK, Tulsa OK, as well as a new location in Springfield MO.

Responsibilities:

Promote Overland Charters’ brand.

Identify potential markets to generate business.

Speak to customers and potential customers by phone

Respond to OverlandCharters.com sales emails.

Promote Overland Charters by scheduling meetings with prospective customers.

Create sales quotes on Coach Manager.

Enter quotes on Coach Manager.

Edit and convey quotes on Coach Manager.

Secure and post itineraries.

Maintain and improve customer relationships/experience by periodically following up, especially after a booking and following the charter trip.

Periodically review competition rates, etc.

Following up with Overland Charters contracts, dispatch, and identifying new opportunities is paramount.

Qualifications:

Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Be self-motivated and a confident professional.

Must have good communication skills, both oral and written.

Applicant should have a minimum of two years of experience in sales with preferably some marketing or be a fast learner and enjoy driving growth.

Work Schedule:

In-person

Monday through Friday

8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Salary Range:Competitive, commensurate with experience

$49,000 to $60,000 (annually)
