To thrive as an Associate Coach, you need a solid background in coaching methodologies, sport-specific knowledge, and often a relevant degree or coaching certification. Familiarity with video analysis tools, training management software, and safety protocols is commonly required. Strong communication, motivation, and teamwork skills help you connect with athletes and support the head coach effectively.
