Job description

The Processing Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of a processing department, ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

The role involves managing projects, ensuring data quality and integrity, and implementing best practices for data management. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership, and management skills.

Processing Manager Responsibilities

  • Reviewing current processes for effectiveness, quality and simplification, and develop and implement solutions to improve operational efficiency

  • Managing your team members day-to-day performance, ensuring daily, weekly, monthly and yearly processing department goals are met

  • Enforce MSI's Policies and procedures

  • Take ownership of departmental issues and follow problems through to resolution

  • Set a clear mission and deploy strategies focused towards MSI Credit Solutions mission

  • Recruit, Interview, coach, and develop Processors and File Clerks. Create an environment where they can excel through encouragement and empowerment

  • Facilitating training of new hires, updating training materials, and consistently training and developing

  • Monitor and assess performance of individuals, issuing Performance Improvement Plans, handling/presiding over terminations

  • Keep ahead of industry developments and apply best practices to areas of improvement

  • Manage resources and use available assets to achieve qualitative and quantitative targets

  • Adhere to and manage the approved Processing department budget if necessary

  • Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities, Keeping the daily backlog from falling behind

  • Delegating task to team members, assigning workload, Auditing team members

  • Overseeing and managing the auditing process. Verifying the accuracy of data entered into systems, and implement quality control measures to maintain high data quality standards

  • Working overtime and weekends as needed to achieve department goals

  • Inventory management and communicate needs of office supplies for the Processing department

  • Preparing and discussing monthly reports, meeting with department leaders to discuss Processing operations
