Job Description

Reed.co.uk is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their Commercial Team in Holborn, London.

Overview

The primary responsibility is the generation of revenue through the acquisition of new customers and winning-back customers who have previously churned within the Direct Employer Enterprise business sector.

Growing the number of active customers using our service is a key business goal, making the success of the Business Development Manager fundamentally tied to our business' success.

The role involves developing relationships with new and previously churned customers, keeping abreast of the jobs markets and using expertise to close business. Your prospects will be Enterprise, defined by having over 1,000 employees within their organisation and will have well-known brands. Bringing these logos onto the Reed.co.uk platform will be key to cementing Reed.co.uk's position within the recruitment advertising market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hitting ambitious acquisition revenue targets
  • Growing the business' customer numbers
  • Working closely with Customer Success Managers to ensure that free and paid trials convert onto longer term paid contracts
  • Maintaining a seamless relationship with the Retention sales team
  • Attending events and networking with key players within the Direct Employer Enterprise segment
Skills and Experience
  • Demonstrable experience in developing new business revenue
  • Prospect strategy experience
  • Face to face sales experience
  • Enthusiastic and creative problem solver
  • A consultative approach to sales and being comfortable asking for business
  • A proven track-record of consistent achievement of sales KPIs and targets
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills and an ability to interact with diverse audiences
  • Results driven, motivated and passionate about sales
  • Strong commitment to personal excellence, self-disciplined, well presented and resourceful with excellent attention to detail and time management skills
