Support the Military's Quality of Life programs! The Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) department of Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) provides fitness, recreation, lodging and food and beverage programs for service members, their families, retired military and civilian employees. This position is assigned to the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Fitness, Sports, and Deployed Support Branch; Fleet Readiness; Commander, Navy Installations command (CNIC); Naval Station Everett.Qualifications:
  • Must possess knowledge of the overall warehousing plan, documentation requirements, and accepted warehousing methods, procedures and techniques.
  • Ability to layout storage space and establish item and material locations in accordance with agency regulations.
  • Ability to prepare electronic inventory records and reports.
  • Ability to read shipping and receiving documents for discrepancies, and direct shipments to shipping or storage areas.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a forklift drivers license.
  • Possess or ability to obtain first aid and CPR certification.
  • Possess the ability to read and comprehend manuals and instructions used in the repair of equipment.
  • Knowledge and ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, analyze and pinpoint maintenance problems on fitness equipment and then perform the tasks required to correct the problem.
  • Must be able to recognize when repairs are beyond capabilities and need to be disposed of.
  • Knowledge of record keeping related to preventative maintenance and inventory control.
  • Knowledge of tools and equipment required in the maintenance and repair of equipment.
  • Proficient in the use of a hand and power tools.
  • Must be proficient with a computer and have basic knowledge of software such as Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
  • Possess a minimum of 1 year of direct customer service experience
