Support the Military's Quality of Life programs! The Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) department of Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) provides fitness, recreation, lodging and food and beverage programs for service members, their families, retired military and civilian employees. This position is assigned to the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Food and Beverage; Fleet Readiness; Commander, Navy Installations command (CNIC); Naval Station Everett - All American Restaurant.Qualifications:
  • Must be able to follow recipes and combine ingredients for plain or fancy salad and other cooked dishes.
  • Skill to perform tasks with several steps and use judgment in the performance of sequential tasks.
  • Concentration is required to serve uniform individual portions and to avoid distractions, such as when several people ask for different items at the same time.
  • Simple arithmetic and the ability to read instructions is required.
  • Working knowledge of common sanitation procedures to prevent contamination.
  • Must be able to use simple kitchen equipment and use common kitchen utensils.
  • Must know the operation of bake, holding ovens and pizza makers.
  • Must be able to relate inventory levels to purchasing requirements; and understand food storage and sanitation requirements.
  • Must be able to operate a cash register.
  • Must be able to follow recipes and combine ingredients for pizza, salads and other menu items.
