Job description

We are seeking an entry- to mid-level CNC Router Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some experience with CNC Router machines, possess mechanical knowledge, are tech savvy and be able to fabricate and assemble parts accurately. Job Responsibilities:
  • Interacting with project managers to thoroughly understand project requirements.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and deliverables.
  • Setting up, operating, and maintaining all relevant tools and machines, including the CNC Cut Center, sanders and edge banders.
  • Preparing and loading raw materials in the CNC Cut Center.
  • Key the specifications of cabinets, doors, panels, and drawer boxes to be produced in the CNC Cut Center.
  • Verifies dimensions and checks the quality or fit of pieces to ensure specifications are quality are met.
  • Trims and sands surfaces or joints to prepare cabinets, doors, panels, and drawers for finishing.
  • Assembles cabinetry components to specifications, including edge banding all drawer boxes.
  • Labels all pieces produced by the CNC Cut Center.
  • CNC Cut Center upkeep and maintenance, including calibrating and changing tooling as needed.
  • Contact tech support as needed to troubleshoot issues and/or perform maintenance.
  • Order all parts as necessary.
  • Supervision of the CNC Cut at all times while in operation.
  • Keeps track of all inventory used for projects and updates the monthly spreadsheet.
  • Cleaning and arranging the work area after work is complete at the end of each day.
  • Stores items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
  • Maintain and clean equipment and work area.
  • Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to organizational standards and policies.

Job Qualifications:
  • CNC Router Experience: 1-2 years (preferred)
  • Cabinet Quality Inspection: 1-2 years (preferred)
  • Woodworking, Cabinet and/or drawer box assembly: 1-2 years (preferred).

Skills:
  • Good understanding of cabinetry components and assembly
  • Good working knowledge of power tools.
  • Good mechanical aptitude, coordination, and dexterity.
  • Dependable and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to accurately use measuring devices.
  • Ability to read and understand job instructions.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be a team-oriented individual with a willingness to learn.

Physical Demands:
  • Standing 90% of the day.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50-75 pounds safely.
  • Must be able to climb ladders without difficulty.
  • Must be able to perform overhead tasks, as well as tasks that include frequent bending and stooping.
  • Must be able to use hand power tools.

Job Details:
  • Compensation: $19-$25 per hour. (Dependent on Experience).

  • Office Hours: Monday - Friday (Office Hours: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm).
