Overview:

We are seeking a versatile Manufacturing Equipment Operator to work with our FrameCAD and CNC machines. In this role, you'll be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced steel manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient production processes. If you have experience with either type of machinery, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do:

  • FrameCAD Machine:
    • Operate and monitor FrameCAD machinery to produce steel framing components.
    • Perform routine maintenance, alignments, and adjustments for precise operation.
    • Troubleshoot mechanical and software issues as they arise.
  • CNC Machine:
    • Program, set up, and operate CNC machines for custom fabrication tasks.
    • Calibrate tools and ensure proper machine alignment for precision work.
    • Perform preventive maintenance, part replacements, and adjustments.
  • Perform routine maintenance on FrameCAD and CNC machines, including lubrication and cleaning.
  • Inspect equipment for proper alignment and adjust settings to ensure optimal performance.
  • Calibrate tools and components to maintain precision in production.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests to identify and resolve mechanical issues.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in steel framing, CNC machines, Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for both systems and manufacturing equipment operation.
  • Skills: Ability to perform precise calibrations, alignments, and adjustments. Strong mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance abilities.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, including standing, sitting, bending, kneeling, and squatting.
  • Must be able to lift and carry equipment and materials weighing up to 30 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:

  • Manufacturing floor with heavy machinery.
  • The noise level is usually moderate, and the work environment's climate may vary.
