If you’re looking for a permanent CNC Lathe Programmer role, look no further! Kelly, in partnership with a large manufacturing organization, is looking for CNC Lathe Programmer in Grand Rapids, MI!  Our client is growing and adding a skilled CNC Lathe Programmer to their team!
This is a direct hire CNC Lathe Programmer position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

Position Information:
• Create, edit, and optimize CNC Lathe programs using Esprit and other programming software as needed.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to define machining operations.
• Select appropriate tools, materials, and methods for part production.
• Collaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on machines in addition to improving existing processes
• Ensure programs support quality and efficiency standards.
• Maintain documentation and update records for all CNC programs.
• Design and produce tools or fixtures to support machining and production leads
Required Experience:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 2+ years of programming, set-up, and operation of CNC Lathes
• Ability to read & interpret blueprints/technical drawings, solid understanding of machining principles and toolpaths.  
• Strong problem solving skills along with excellent communication skills
