Job Description:
Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Location: Huntsville, AL 35801
Shift Schedule: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM | Evening Shift
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible extension depending on business needs)
Pay Range: $15 -$21/hr on w2 (Based on experience and qualifications)
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality and compassionate care to residents.
Respond to resident calls and determine appropriate assistance needed.
Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, mobility, and feeding.
Reposition and support residents to enhance comfort and prevent pressure injuries.
Monitor dietary restrictions and preferences to ensure proper nutrition.
Communicate effectively with nurses, caregivers, and medical staff about resident conditions and care plans.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety, privacy, and infection control protocols.
Skills/Experience Needed:
Minimum 1 year of recent CNA experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Experience with memory care residents is a plus.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED - Required
Completion of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant program.
Certifications:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Active Alabama certification required
BLS Certification (American Heart Association) - Required
