Job description

Koger Home Care, LLC. seeks PCAs and CNAs (Caregivers) in the Midlands, SC, and the surrounding area. We are seeking a caregiver who is well-versed in personal care. The caregiver must be comfortable working with pets in the home. The caregiver must be able to provide the participant with verbal cues when completing certain tasks. The caregiver will perform various ADL assistance in the following areas: showering, bed baths, dressing, mouth care, grooming care, medication reminders, incontinence care, and standby assistance. Additionally, the client needs light housekeeping tasks, companion service, meal preparation, pick-up prescriptions, etc.
Work Availability: Caregivers must have open availability.
  • Open Availability: 7 AM - 7 PM (West Columbia/Cayce/Lexington, SC Area)
  • Open Availability: 7 AM - 7 PM (Columbia, SC)
  • Open Availability: 7 AM - 7 PM (Garners Ferry/Hopkins)

AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENT: The candidate is expected to work 2 weekends/month.
The caregiver candidate must have a minimum of 2-5 years of verifiable professional caregiver experience, pass the 10-year SC SLED Background Check/Drug Screening, and have a negative PPD test. The PCA caregiver candidate must have a valid SC Driver's License, auto insurance, and a personal vehicle. PCA must be able to work with pets in the home.
