Responsibilities
  • Responsible for overseeing the maintenance activities of multiple maintenance teams and locations.
  • Strategic planning of plant/campus maintenance activities.
  • Forecasting future maintenance needs.
  • Working closely with Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, Facilities, EHS, quality, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance, guidelines, and continuous improvements.
  • Develop and recommend maintenance budgets.
  • Manage and develop SOPs and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Train and develop the maintenance team.
  • Responsible for completion of complex maintenance activities including welding, electrical, refrigeration, HVAC, and related work.
  • Available to be on-call and provide phone assistance for troubleshooting breakdowns and correcting problems.
  • Assist in project development and equipment selection.
  • Provide input with the Engineering team on process improvements and installation of equipment.
  • Oversee CMMS system and repairs to maintain uptime.
  • Conduct KPI analysis and root cause analysis.
  • Provide advanced technical training to maintenance technicians as needed.
  • Coordinate external resources as needed.
  • Report and track maintenance functions.
  • Track and manage maintenance inventory.
  • Tack and manage critical spare parts.
  • Accomplish preventive maintenance and repairs within established timelines.
  • Coordinate with all other functions to ensure proper maintenance of equipment.
  • Be proficient with CAD drawings
  • Participate in or lead plant/campus-wide safety and emergency response.

Qualifications
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of related technical leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
    • Associate degree with at least 7 years of management experience.
  • Proficient with CMMS and computer programs, including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Successful experience with PLCs and BAS controls.
  • Detail oriented, with the ability to delegate and prioritize.
  • Experience with mechanical, electrical, HVAC, pneumatic, and boiler systems.
  • Experience with material handling.
  • Technical expert in all maintenance functions, including machine repair, piping, and machine rigging.
  • Mechanical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Administer Lockout-Tagout, Confined Space, Hot-Work Procedures, PPE, and other safety-related policies
