Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Aviation Maintenance Technician to overhaul, inspect, repair, assemble, and test aircraft landing gear and related components. This is component overhaul, not airline line maintenance. Every project requires craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Overhaul aircraft landing gear and related components
  • Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble assemblies
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic systems
  • Read and interpret CMMs, engineering drawings, and technical manuals
  • Perform work in accordance with FAA regulations and approved technical data
  • Complete accurate maintenance documentation
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area
Qualifications
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate a plus
  • 5+ years of aircraft maintenance or overhaul experience preferred
  • FAA Part 145 Repair Station experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screening and background check.
